Analysis
Prior analysis is possibly the most critical step in the development process. Our philosophy is in keeping with the principle that “Prescribing without diagnosis is malpractice”.
Analysis and diagnosis requires:
- Knowing the organisation: What is its strategy? Its organizational structure? What do its culture and core values look like? What challenges does it currently face, and key competencies should its executives have or develop in order to meet the challenges ahead?
- Identifying the development gaps and needs: This means effectively helping the organisation to identify required competencies and skills at different management levels, and finding where the gaps are, with specific diagnosis tools if need be.
Design
During this second phase, the information gathered during the first stage is used to help us define clearly the “who”, “why”, “when”, “where” and “how” of the programme. The programme designed is always tailor-made and based on the “Interactive Project” concept.
We can also assist the organisation in designing the internal communications plan which will help to promote the programme.
We offer a variety of development solutions which blend the individuals’ needs with the needs of the organisation, taking in all phases of the process; from diagnosis all the way through to the delivery, follow-up actions and evaluation.
Delivery
A dedicated Mangers Studio coordinator takes care of the project implementation and roll-out through all its various stages, including:
1. Contents design: documentation, structure, and planning.
2. Production of all materials / documentation and any specific tools needed.
3. Execution of the development programme using the team of specialists best suited to the client’s needs; trainers, lecturers, presenters, coaches etc…
4. Continuous monitoring and evaluation during the whole process.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- If you have previously been involved in project implementation and roll-out, you will at some stage have had to assess the results. What have we achieved? Have we reached our desired outcome? What should we do differently or better next time?
- The evaluation process has two dimensions. On one hand there is reflection on the part of the participant in the shape of a personal development plan identifying learning milestones and next steps.
- On the other hand there is our own evaluation process, which we carry out together with the client where we strive to identify results achieved, level of satisfaction and “what next”?
Our ultimate aim is to become the client’s strategic partner in the area of executive development and this can only be achieved via in-depth knowledge of the client, commitment, continuous improvement and results.
